My name is Ramses “Gino” Barrios, I live on the Island of Aruba which is in the Caribbean. For the last five years I’ve been competing in Holland and England.
In England I’ve competed in the N.A.B.B.A Universe and I’ve won 4th, 3rd and twice the second place.
All of this was possible thanks to my friend Alison Maria, who is my coach during the preparation for these contests.I have a coach in Aruba who helps me with my training and conditioning and when I go to Holland I’m in the hands of the “Grand Wizard” as I like call him.
My experience with Alison has been really great, he has vast knowledge in both training and nutrition, he sets my diet for me so I am able to peak just in time for a contest. In 2006 I had kind of a bad year (training and dieting wise) I had lost allot of weight and size and was about to start my contest prep.
When I got to Holland, Alison told me that my body looked like it was out of life and the he was going to wake me up from the dead, ha-ha-ha. In only three weeks I was able to make a dramatic change to my body and still manage to place in the top three at the Mr. Universe in Birmingham England.
